About the Author:

Nick Piechowski is a Wisconsin author, husband, father, and proud member of his local dive team. Married to a Wisconsin farm girl and father to four, he writes with a deep love for rural life and the quiet courage found in ordinary people.

When he’s not diving or writing, Nick can be found outdoors—hunting, fishing or enjoying the backroads of the state he calls home. Corsana: A Wisconsin Heart is his debut novel.

 About the book:

How do you hold on when life asks you to let go?

On a small Wisconsin farm, where mornings rise quietly over gold fields, Jake Ellingson and Natasha Emery build a love rooted in patience, labor, and promise. It is a life shaped by seasons—steady, honest, and hard-won.

Then loss arrives, sudden and unforgiving, breaking the future they imagined. In its wake, Jake and Natasha must learn not only how to survive their grief, but how to reach for one another when the weight of sorrow feels unbearable—and how to believe that something gentle might still be waiting on the other side.

Moving through river rescues, heartbreak, harvests, and the fragile work of healing, Corsana: A Wisconsin Heart is the story of two souls who choose love again and again, even when grief threatens to hollow it out.

A quiet love story forged in soil and seasons.

A journey through loss, grace, and the courage to hope.

A reminder that even shattered hearts can find their way home.
