Thank you for thinking of the Berlin Public Library for a donation. A gift to our library is a gift to the Berlin Community.

If you are considering a monetary donation, please include the following form and make your donation payable to the Berlin Public Library.

If you are making an Honorarium of Memorial donation, please include the following form with your donation.

Fifty/Fifty Donations

People who are interested in adding an item to the Berlin Public Library collection that the library does not already own have the option of paying for half of the item as a donation to the library. When you pay for half of the item, you will receive the item first to borrow from the library. However, offering to pay for half of the item does not guarantee that the item will be added to the collection. You will be contacted by the Youth Services Librarian or Adult/Teen Services Librarian regarding your offer.

If you are interested in making a Fifty/Fifty donation, please send us the following form.

Friends of the Library Donations

To donate materials, the Friends welcome gently used books, CD’s, and DVD’s. We are unable to accept text books, computer books, medical books, magazines, technical manuals, encyclopedias, or Reader’s Digest condensed books. Monetary donations may be made via check or cash to the Friends of the Library at Berlin Public Library by mail or in person at the help desk at the library. Friends of the Berlin Library is a 501c3 organization, which provides an opportunity for a tax deductible donation. If a receipt is requested, please let us know.
